Some General Rules & Discipline
 

  • Children must come to school regularly and punctually.

  • They must be neat and tidy in their dress with hair combed, shoes polished and nails cut and clean.

  • A pupil exposed to or suffering from an infection or contagious disease is not to attend the school until a doctor has given a certificate declaring that he may do so without risk to the rest of our children.

  • Parents/Guardian may .visit the school on the parents teachers meetings days and discuss their child’s academic and problems with teachers concerned.

  • No student should leave the school premises during school hours including recess, without permission.

  • Girls students should not wear ornaments.

  • All applications for leave should be addressed to the Principal.

  • Students are expected to respect and protect school property. Any kind of damage to school property will be remedied by the offender.

  • No responsibility is taken for the goods or money lost, valuable articles should not be brought to the school. The name, class of the pupils should be clearly marked on all the belongings of the students.

  • The school reserves the right to dismiss students whose diligence or progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.

 

  • students should get their Report Cards signed by their parents /guardians within two days of the receipt of the Report Cards.

  • No pupil shall absent himself / herself from the class without obtaining prior permission of the Principal. If the permission cannot be sought, on ground of health or unforeseen circumstances, an application of leave should be sent not later than the following day.

  • If you wish to discuss a matter of concern to you or your child, feel free to contact an individual teacher during his/her free periods by taking prior permission from the Principal/Coordinator.

  • Inform the school about your child's absence in advance.

  • Speak respectfully about teachers, especially in the presence of your child.
  • Come to class on time and bring all necessary materials with you.

  • Listen attentively when teachers or other students are speaking. Indicate your desire to contribute by raising your hand.

  • Avoid any distracting behaviour during lessons.

  • Stay in your place and do not pack up at the end of the lesson until directed by your teacher.

  • Cooperate with the Class Monitor in maintaining proper order and discipline during a change of periods. When the teacher happens to be absent or late.

  • Put your hand up to ask/answer questions: do not call out in class.
